The Mr. Root Beer kit is very simple and comes with everything you need to make your own root beer. Our first attempt at making the root beer went well, but we put it in the fridge just a bit too soon. The flavor is great, but by putting it in too soon it isn't hardly carbonated at all. Next time around we know a little better what to expect, so it should be even better!

As a crafter, it is sometimes nice to be able to stand and work having a table at more than 30 to 35 inches in height. I read the other reviews which are positive. The table that I received came with no instructions for assembly. There is a metal ring that slides along the shaft and supposedly stabilizes the leg. I spent 20 minutes off and on during the evening trying to do that but no matter where the rings were placed the legs remained very shaky. Shakier than any cheap card table I ever owned. Perhaps it is intended to be shaky but not to fall down despite being so wobbly. If so, it is a very poor idea indeed. When I put my hand on the surface and moved my palm gently, the whole table wobbled and wiggled around. I called Lifetime and talked to someone who did nothing to help. I asked for instructions and he said there were none for that model. Then I told him that as we were speaking I was looking at a computer screen that said otherwise. I actually had to inform him about the existence of directions for his own company's product. If there are no directions then of course the website is lying to customers. Either way it demonstrates incompetence. Then I was asked to take photos and provide those to the engineering department. I explained that my time is valuable and that I'm not working for Lifetime. They should be working for me since I am the customer. Product, service, all shaky at best, and $85 is a lot of money for a folding table. I recommend that you look elsewhere. I am sending mine back to the Amazon merchant, who also failed to reply to my question.

Overall the Jensen Interactive AM/FM Talking Dual Alarm Clock - JCR-290 is a very nice clock. It is a little sensitive at times and will activate when picking up general white noise. It also incorrectly picks up voice commands if you are not facing the clock when giving them.

I've been using Accumulair filters for about 3 years now since I purchased my house due to the unique size (17x22) of the filter. Most big box stores don't carry this filter size and the reusable fiberglass filter that came with the furnace is woefully terrible at filtering the air (like Swiss cheese compared to the Accumulair filters).

I can't comment definitively on the effectiveness of the odor blocking properties of the filter since I haven't really done any experimentation, but it *SEEMS* to work (well, at least to some degree) given that we have three cats and a Husky (which seems to shed a cat's worth of fur every month) in the house and it seems to be fairly odorless.

Don't expect instant results with regards to odor given that for it to even be effective, it would need to circulate a pretty large amount of air. It may take a day or two to notice anything.

As far as the filtering properties go, it does a decent enough job for a 1" filter given the circumstances (the aforementioned 3 cats and a dog). The house is still requires a good dusting ever 2-3 weeks, but certainly, I think it would be much worse given the amount of dirt, dust, and dander I've seen on the filters when I pull it out to change it.

Overall, a recommended product. In fact, I'm going to buy a few more as soon as I finish typing this :)

We installed it on our newly painted garage door as a replacement of the decades old mail slot. It looks great with out dark contemporary exterior paint color. Even the mailman said "thank you" to us; the old one was smaller and broken apart...
The Spring-action lid feels little bit stiff when opening but it doesn't bother me. Since we installed it on the garage door, we had to buy a set of shorter screws and bolts. Make sure to buy the exterior use waterproof screws if you buy.

I am one of those "lightweight" DIY people, that some might even call wannabe-DIY. But having spent insane amounts of money on other really simple projects before, when we found water dripping from the back of the refrigerator, I was tempted to at least open the back panel and see whats inside. Sure enough, the inlet valve was broken. Found this replacement and given that it was perhaps the only genuine GE option available (for less than a tenth of the cost of what a plumber/handyman might take to just make the trip for diagnostics), placed order on Sunday late night. Even though no expedited shipping option was available, I was pleasantly surprised to see it delivered Tuesday (granted, we live in the heart of Chicago, but still that was fast!)

Needed a quick straightening of the connectors with a pair of pliers. GE has an amazing, almost no-tool, intuitive replacement procedure. It was literally in and out in under 5 minutes. Fit perfectly on our GE Profile Arctic model. Back up and running. No opinion yet on durability, but I assume it should last as well as the previous one.

Btw, one tip you might find helpful (though sorta obvious in hindsight): While waiting for the leak to be fixed, its simplest to take off the water filter so that it shuts off the supply line. It was particularly helpful in our case since we don't have a dedicated shutoff valve going into the refrigerator and didn't want to shut off supply to the entire kitchen.

This is a drect OEM replacement part for my old dual outlet water valve. It's easy to install. Just remove the back cover, I used nutdriver screwdrivers. Remove the single screw that holds the old bracket on. Swap the outlet lines, then swap the connectors. Mount the new valve, then remove the inlet valve from the old one and screw it onto the new one.

Leave the back cover off for a while and wait for a couple of icemaker cycles and use the water through the door dispenser a few times. Check for leaks. If no leaks, then install the back cover using the 4 screws and you're done!

These function as advertised. Much better than I anticipated, in fact. They also fit very snugly (yet comfortably) and make great liners for heavier winter gloves made to accommodate liners. On their own, they're not so warm and I wonder if that has something to do with the interwoven metallic fibers. As another reviewer noted, keep them far far away from velcro.

This is not a review of the product. It is a review of the only retailer/fulfillment company on Amazon of this product, "alive and aware natural health llc". I'm sorry that the rating doesn't have to do with the product itself, but this is a shortcoming of Amazon's system -- I can't write a review of the reseller.

I am writing this review to let potential buyers know of my negative experience with the reseller.

In December 2011, I ordered these gloves in Small/Medium a few weeks ago. Alive and Aware sent me a Medium/Large. I couldn't return them directly via Amazon since it's a third-party reseller, so I had to go through a few hoops with Amazon customer service to get a label printed and returned.

I returned them and ordered a new pair in Small/Medium.

The SECOND pair was ALSO in Medium/Large.

The first time, I can chalk it up to sloppiness. The second time makes me think that the company doesn't have any Small/Mediums and is shipping Medium/Larges hoping that the recipient doesn't notice. This is supported by the fact that Agloves direct has indicated on their own site that they are out of stock of the S/M size for the Winter 2011 season.

Amazon has, of course, been a pleasure to deal with on this end. I'm simply disappointed in the third-party reseller.

Letme start by saying the shipping was very fast. However, these sheets are like cheap polyester curtains. I cant stand them! I would send them back, but they already have been washed. They are not soft. They are not cozy. They are terrible. Best thing about them is they were cheap, so I dont feel too bad not using them. Do not buy these. What a waste.

Cathay Home Fashions Luxury Silky Soft Circles Flock Microfiber Sheet Set, Twin Size, Sage

The Cathay microfiber sheet set is made out of 100% polyester microfiber. I originally felt that it was on-par with the typical cheap store brand sheets that are made out of the cheap polyester material one would find used for button-up shirts. However, the Cathay brand sheets use a slightly more refined microfiber material.

It is still somewhat shiny, but the thread count or texture feels more refined but is still soft and comfortable against bare skin. The first time I washed these sheets, I got a lot of fuzz, loose threads, and other excess material onto other clothes and onto the dryer screen. In my experience, this type of microfiber is easy to clean and will last for years if not a decade or longer.

The only areas of the sheets that have the black design are at the very edge of the comforter sheet and the pillow case. The main mattress covering does not have that design, and this covering is sized for a very thick twin mattress but fits over thinner mattresses just fine.

I felt that this sheet case was well made and the material is very comfortable. However, I would say that it is only slightly overpriced but the material is just better made and put together than a slightly less expensive sheet set. Others may not like the feel of polyester, but I am not a fan of cotton or its feel against my skin. Cotton and poly-cotton tend to pill up, while polyester microfiber tends to stay smooth and silky for years and years.

Overall: 5/5 stars, but your mileage may vary. I like the feel of polyester against my skin - that goes for socks, shirts, pants, underwear, racing undersuits, etc... Well made and stitched, refined material quality compared to slightly less expensive store brand polyester sheets.

This popcorn maker creates the best buttered popcorn around. We have made popcorn almost every night since we got this set. I think the popper is our favorite piece. We have used the poacher, but it takes a bit of practice to get the eggs just right. This would be a great gift for a newlywed couple, a dorm room or a single person on their own.

This set is fantastic!! What a bargain! I now can make
microwave popcorn without the salt and no oil!!

The egg cookers work well. I used the bacon dish and cover
to heat up a meal and it worked great! ( I am not much for eating
bacon, because of the fat in it.)

I bought the set mainly for the pocorn popper. The price is
less than the cost of other poppers, ( much less),and it works great!!

The egg poacher is absolutely the worst. It's hinges broke on the second use. The bacon maker got grease all over the microwave. The food cover is too big to be used in 700-800 watt microwaves. The hard boiled egg maker takes much longer than cooking on the stove with uneven results. You are basically paying $25 for a not too bad popcorn popper. Buy it individually and you'll be happy.

I bought this printer new in 2005. 6 yrs later, in 2011, this printer hasn't given me a single problem. Not. One. Problem. It's still as fast as it was the day I bought it. It can spit out thousand page jobs without a single hiccup.

If everything worked as well as this printer, cars would get 200 mpg and never need to be replaced!

I also like the HP web interface for checking and administering the printer on my local ethernet network. Installing network printer drivers on multiple networked computers is as easy as could be.

As perfect a printer as I've ever used. I expect this printer will keep going for another 7 years at least.

Decent by today's means, but the older HP's are made with metal parts that really withstand the test of time.

However, these newer models will spit out a page fairly quickly and the web interface to modify the settings is a nice touch.

These play well in a small business networked environment.

I still prefer my older 4000's instead.

We got this stroller after spending hours looking for the 'perfect' stroller, which I don't think exists! We wanted the bassinet feature without having to pay a fortune and this seemed to be very reasonable and have all the features we were looking for - car seat adaptor, rain cover etc. I was disappointed when I opened the box to find that the fabric is very cheap. For the first couple of months I really liked the stroller using the bassinet. Yes, it is wobbly which I was worried about at first but it's fine. I covered the mattress pad in a cotton receiving blanket to make it more comfy as it's quite hard. The canopy provided good sun protection too. I never used the rain cover much so can't comment but the one time I used it, it fit well and several people commented on what a good idea it was to use over the car seat when using the car seat adaptor. The car seat adaptor is a bit difficult to clip in and out too. I think the basket is a good size and although it's shallow, I've piled all kinds in there and it's stayed in.
Since we have been using it in the seat position rather than the bassinet, I'm not so happy. The seat doesn't seem very shallow when you look from the side but once the baby is in there, it is definitely shallow and I feel he is now just held there by the straps, and he's 11 months and 24lbs so this could be more of an issue with a lighter baby. The seat also does not have a full upright position which I didn't realise before we bought it. So now, my son stuggles to see out and tries to sit forward more.
I like the handle height and steering but if I was to have the time again, I wouldn't purchase this stroller. I would probably go for something much cheaper that may not be as stylish but much more functional. My Mum bought a Graco Quattro Sport system for use when we travelled back home and I much much preferred that. I was avoiding travel systems because they were marketed as being bulky and heavy but when the Icoo is folded, it's also very bulky and not light!

After researching tons of strollers and even buying and returning two I settled on the I'Coo Pacific. I wanted a higher end stroller but did not want to break the bank. I have a smaller size SUV and needed a stroller that wouldn't take up the entire back storage area of my trunk. I do not live in the city and would be getting in and out of the car frequently with my stroller, so I wanted one that wouldn't be too heavy and that would fold easily. I have had the I'Coo Pacific for 7 months now and have been extremely happy. My baby is 8 months old and we have used our stroller all the time and have loved it.
Here are a few things that I really love:
- The seat and bassinet are one
- the 2010 canopy is huge, totally covers baby when in bassinet or sitting
- The carseat adaptor, rain cover, and foot muff are not extra pieces you have to buy
- it folds and takes up one side of my small SUV trunk area not entire trunk
- seat faces both ways
- easy maneuverability
- folds to bassinet very quick with baby in it
- looks like I spent more money than I did
What I don't love:
- the storage area isn't as large as the UPPA, but I do have a large diaper bag and it still fits

I have used my carseat adaptor up to this point and it has not broken. I am sure that the more expensive strollers may have more ease in their functions, but if you can't and won't spend that much on a stroller and still want more than the average stroller has to offer, the I'Coo Pacific is great. I am 5'9" and even with low heels the handle is long enough.

The fact that this seat fold quickly into the bassinet has made a lot of my friends envious when my baby is able to sleep laying flat when we are out and their babies are stuck sleeping in a half sit/lay position.

All in all, I have been extremely happy from day one with the I'Coo Pacific. For the price it is a wonderful stroller.

This is a nice stroller. Well worth the money and a better deal than most of the competition. Assembly of the stroller was very easy and changing from Pram to seat works nice. Has lots of nice features and drives really well.
While this stroller is from a German company it is Made in China (but so are most of the strollers from the competition).
